🌿Oscar’s Colouring Book

Audience: Ages 1–12 and older
Curriculum Link: National Curriculum (species recognition identifying a range of native and introduced species)

This book contains outline images of Oscar the Oak and his woodland friends. Children can colour the shapes of each character — including the bird, the tree, and the leaf — helping them become familiar with how different species look. It’s simple, engaging, and ideal for both early learners and older children who benefit from visual and repeating tasks.

Additionally, the book includes 24 pages of drawings of Oscar the Oak and his friends for children of all ages to colour in, learning about trees as they go. Children love to colour and draw. This book introduces them to Oscar the Oak and 23 of his friends, with accompanying outlines of bud, leaf and tree outline (part of The National Curriculum), so the child learns as they draw. Engaging whether they are 2 or 12! Available in pdf form.

Highlights:

  • Outlines of Oscar and his friends

  • Species‑shape recognition through colouring

  • Gentle introduction to nature and woodland life

  • Suitable for home, school, and early‑years settings
